Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel launch NEW WEBSITE & LEARNING HUB

The Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel website serves as a national learning hub designed to strengthen child protection practice across England by bringing together insights from serious child safeguarding reviews. It explains the Panel’s independent role in overseeing and commissioning reviews where children have died or been seriously harmed, and focuses on identifying system‑wide learning rather than apportioning blame.

The site provides accessible guidance for safeguarding partners and professionals, publishes national reports and thematic analyses, and hosts an online learning hub with practical resources on issues such as neglect, child sexual abuse, vulnerable babies, and safeguarding Black, Asian and Mixed Heritage children, all aimed at improving professional practice and outcomes for children.

The site will continue to develop over the coming months, with Children Missing Education/ Elective Home Education, Adolescent Self Harm & Suicide, and Online Harms pages currently in development.
