Be Active - FREE Active Bystander training specifically developed for Sports Club In Bedfordshire in partnership with NWG
We are pleased to share this exclusive FREE opportunity, organised in partnership with NWG, as part of the Bedfordshire Sport Welfare Officer offer. (please scroll down for registration links for Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire and Luton based sports clubs.)
Bystander Training – The first 10 clubs that attend the event will receive 1 free place on a UK Coaching Safeguarding Course
Who is the session for: This session has been specifically designed for all volunteers involved within sports clubs and for anyone who wants to get better at speaking up when things aren't right.
Why come along: By embedding Active Bystander training into your club, it will help create a safer and more inclusive environment for all.
What the training aims to do: Bystander training can help people become confident at safely and effectively intervening in situations challenge conversations they are not comfortable with. It's about empowering everyone in the club, whether on the field or in the changing room, to act and ensure that all members and volunteers feel respected, supported, and safe. This training provides the confidence to call out inappropriate behaviour and create a positive and inclusive culture within a club.
